| | Registration
Your small registration fee is critically important! It helps pay for all sorts of support services spread throughout the event and helps keep the prices lower. Think of it as our village supporting the Specialty through each person paying a small fee, rather than raising the price for individual events. So please register and proudly wear your name tag that says, "I support my National Specialty". I know I will!--Chuck Teasley, PWDCA President

| | Breeder Seminar-Mon Sept 19
The Breeders Development Committee invites you to join us for an exciting and practical breeder’s seminar. This
year’s guest speaker will be Myra Savant Harris. Ms. Harris is a retired RN, who has combined her knowledge of
canine reproduction, puppy care and nursing skills to author the books "Canine Repro and Whelping" and "Puppy
Intensive Care". Ms. Harris will present a seminar combining information on both reproduction and puppy care
issues. She will be discussing the different things that we do that can affect the fertility of our bitches and stud dogs, and great information about how to time a breeding for success. She will also share her knowledge about puppies, including how to whelp them, how to keep them alive and what they need in order to thrive. You won’t want to miss this seminar!

| | Health Seminar - Tue Sept 20th
Dogs are not wolves but that doesn't mean they don't sometimes act like wild animals. Aggressive behavior in the
domestic dog is a very serious problem that often leads to a break down of the human-animal bond and sometimes
even the euthanasia of the animal. Why do dogs bite the hand that feeds them or visitors to the home or other
dogs? In this lecture Kelley will talk about why dogs sometimes act aggressively, the different types of aggression we see in dogs and what we can do to prevent and modify these disturbing and dangerous behaviors.
