Understanding Aggression in the Domestic Dog - Tues Sept 20th 4-5:30PM

Dogs are not wolves but that doesn't mean they don't sometimes act like wild animals. Aggressive behavior in the domestic dog is a very serious problem that often leads to a break down of the human-animal bond and sometimes even the euthanasia of the animal. Why do dogs bite the hand that feeds them or visitors to the home or other dogs? In this lecture Kelley will talk about why dogs sometimes act aggressively, the different types of aggression we see in dogs and what we can do to prevent and modify these disturbing and dangerous behaviors.
